Instagram's New Update Includes "Profile Display Options" & (PIP) mode For IGTV Videos

Jane Manchun Wong, an App researcher reveals new Instagram features everyone will be getting According to her tweets, it seems it's still under development and probably will be rolling out in the next update.

Based on her tweets, it was concluded that Instagram will give users account an option to hide sensitive information like contact details and it's category from displaying on their profile. So this means it will be visible only to them, and this makes it more and more secure and safe.

This will encourage more users to stay with Instagram especially influencers who are using Instagram for promotional means which they don't want to reveal much sensitive information.

The picture in Picture mode (PIP)

This new Instagram's upcoming feature allows users to watch the video in a small window that will pop up on their screen while they do other things in the app. Apps like Whatsapp has this feature already and now, it's heading on Instagram. With this PIP Mode, you can enjoy IGTV Videos even outside the app.
