Instagram For Web: Directing Messaging Feature Added

It is about time, finally, Instagram is getting the "Direct Messaging' feature added to the web browser version of the platform. This is something not available before, you could only see pics, but not direct message except via the app, now there is a change.

Some social platform offers this feature in a stand-alone app, while some make it inbuilt, Instagram makes theirs inbuilt, now you can easily chat via a browser on phone or computer.

"DMs, but make them desktop. We are currently testing Direct messaging on the web, so you can read and reply to your messages from wherever you are," the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The option can be located from the create chats via the profile screen, click on the 'message button to begin. Also, the Chrome browser might be able to allow the new Instagram new feature for the web which allows web notification and sharing of the post via DM.
