MTN 2.5GB for N500 (MyMTN Hot Data Deals) Bundles Review
MTN still has some good data plans for heavy users who love downloading games, files and movies. This new 2.5GB for N500 is official and free to use, I've shared how to activate this MyMTN Data Bundles Plan.
This Data Bundle can be seen only through MTN official MyMTN App, when you download the app, you will see some new data plans you will not see normally through USSD code. There are Daily plans, Weekly, Monthly, 2 Months, 6 and yearly Data Bundles.
It will better use the MTN app because you can choose any plan or action you want to perform easily like checking data or voice balance, checking number, recharging or playing of games. The 2.5GB for N500 is ok, but the validity is the issue, it is not valid for a week or 3 days, but 48 hours.
So, this is all you need to do, you can see your balance through the application, but you can still use *131*4# if you trust the USSD code more.

Activate MTN (Hot Data Deals) 2.5GB For 500
- Download MyMTN App from Google Play or iOS Store
- Register your number, you will even be given free 500MB in the process
- Once logged in, under "Quick Access", click "HOT DATA Deals"
- Swipe to "Daily" plans
- Locate MTN 2.5GB for N500 at the last of the list
- Click and choose the Payment method & Activation Mode.
- Choose Airtime to purchase via your phone Airtime balance.
- Valid for 2 days.
So, this is all you need to do, you can see your balance through the application, but you can still use *131*4# if you trust the USSD code more.
