Instagram Messenger Rooms For Group Video Chats now Integrated
Instagram has now gotten Facebook Messenger Rooms for Video chat which was integrated last month to counter the fast-growing Zoom service. Facebook promised to include this feature for Instagram users and now it can be used on the app, this feature lets you create private video chat rooms that support up to 50 participants and even those on Facebook can join the conversion if they aren't on Instagram.
“Starting today, you can create @messenger Rooms on Instagram and invite anyone to join,” Instagram said on Twitter. Rooms can be created and friends on Instagram up to 50 people can easily be invited to the rooms either through the link or through the invite friends button. The room can also be locked in case you do not want anyone to join the conversation.
How to use Messenger Rooms via Instagram
Instagram shared a video that helps you use the new Messenger Rooms feature on Instagram, so here is the written guide.
Check Out:
1. Head to Instagram direct messages.
2. Tap the video chat icon and create a room.
3. Invite friends to the room.
4. Collect the room invitation link so others not on friend list can join.
