Windows 11 release date

According to Microsoft, they said they will roll out the OS this holiday, basically around November/December this year 2021. They will continue this rollout to all users till 2022, so this means the stable version of Windows 11 is yet to be released to the public, the unstable leaked version can be installed on a virtual machine.

Windows 11 compatibility check

To check if your system meets the system requirements automatically, you can use the health check app. So this will show you if it is compatible, if it fails, then you can still try to upgrade your computer to meet the requirement before the stable release.
  1. Download and install Microsoft's PC Health Check app (13.46MB)
  2. Run the Program, after it has launched you will see a "Check Now" button.
  3. Tap the "Check Now" button to see if you are compatible with Windows 11.
  4. If you are, it will popup "This PC will run Windows 11".

Note: Microsoft's Windows 11 upgrade checker might tell you your PC did not meet the minimum system requirement due to disabled TPM on BIOS. Every modern CPU comes with TPM support so if you are using Intel CPU you need to switch to TPM, while those on AMD need to check PSP fTPM in the BIO. After this, run Microsoft's health checker app to confirm the status.
