Google One VPN now Available for Windows & Mac: Details
Back in October 2020, Google launched its own virtual private network (VPN) service for Android users in the United States, but now available in 22 countries and for Windows and Mac.
Google One is certified by the Internet of Secure Things Alliance (ioXt), it offers VPN services to users who subscribe to Google One's 2TB plan which is priced at NGN 1,990 / month or NGN 19,990 / year as seen on Google One help page for the VPN subscription.
What's included in the plan aside from the VPN services? The Google One Premium plan also provides storage improvements across other Google products like Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. Furthermore, there is access to Google experts, Google Store rewards (10 percent cashback), Pro Sessions, and Gold status on Google Play Points.
Google One VPN subscription can be shared with any other device, up to five members selected by the primary account as far as the members are from any of the below listed supported countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK, and the US.
So with Google One VPN, you can browse the internet securely, access restricted websites, and encrypt your incoming and outgoing data. The app is also available for iOS users.
