Samsung Galaxy S23 & S22 Series Gets Android 14-Based One UI 6 Update
Google, on Thursday, released the Android 14 developer preview image which comes with new changes and improvements. Samsung's next major OS update, bring One UI 6 is expected to arrive with the latest Android 14 OS update. Now, the list of Samsung Galaxy smartphones to receive the next major One UI update has surfaced online, let's check it out!
According to reports, Samsung will likely roll out the One UI 6 update based on Android 14 phones that are 3 years old, while recently launched models will get four years of OS updates. The list of Samsung phones to get these updates are the Galaxt S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21 series, and the galaxy S21 handsets.

More devices on the list to get the One UI 6 update and Android 14 including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3, should also receive the update. The Galaxy A series will also get this, it includes: the Samsung Galaxy A73, Galaxy A72, Galaxy A52, Galaxy A53, A23.
The latest version of Google's Android operating system comes with improved privacy and new customizations, reduction in battery life consumption and improved performance. To emphasize on the cuztomization aspect, you can now edit the lock screen by adding photos and videos, while combining several widgets into a single widget to save space on the home screen.
The One UI 5 update also features 16-preset color themes which can be automatically generated based on the wallpaper as well an 'object eraser' tool (for select devices) allowing users to remove unwanted people, objects, shadows, and reflections from photographs. The Samsung One UI 6 update also packs the new Bixby Text Call feature, which allows the voice assistant to quickly answer calls and even share the typed messages with the caller.
