WhatsApp Now Supports Sending Up to 100 Media Files, Captions for Documents
WhatsApp for Android has come with a new update that includes document captions, longer group subjects, descriptions, and the option to share up to 100 media files. By updating your WhatsApp for Android on the Google Play store, you should be able to see the update.
WhatsApp has released an official changelog for the latest version of WhatsApp for Android which as earlier said, includes the ability to insert document captions, use longer group subjects and descriptions, the option to share up to 100 media files, and avatars.

iOS users do not have an official date when the feature will be rolled out just yet, though it has been reported that WhatsApp has rolled out a beta version for some iOS users which lets some testers share up to the new 100 media files at once update.
To further emphasize the other features like captions and documents; when sharing documents, users will now be able to include a caption to describe the documents as well as the media files. While group admins can now include a longer subject and description for their group chat.
WhatsApp is also said to be working on allowing users to send photos "in their original quality" on the app, including the desktop, iOS, and Android versions.
