WhatsApp working on Call Scheduling Feature: How it Works
WhatsApp has been spotted working on a new call-scheduling feature that lets users schedule calls with members of the same group. This feature will be made available not quite long from now on the upcoming WhatsApp version update.
The WhatsApp scheduling feature was spotted by no other site other than WABetaInfo. They were able to confirm that upon scheduling calls on WhatsApp with users in a group chat, they will be notified of the set specific time so they can join at the agreed time.
Further details can be seen from the shared screenshot by the WhatsApp tracking site that the feature will be available starting from version 2.23.4.4 of WhatsApp beta for Android. So currently, it is still in the development stages and no one is able to get earlier access to it.
To schedule a call on WhatsApp, users would have to tap on the options menu which will display a card providing them an option to enter a title, select a date and time, and then tap the Create button. Now when the time for the call has been reached, users will then be notified.
WhatsApp was also spotted working on another feature other than call scheduling. This time around, it is the ability to transcribe voice messages. What does this mean? With your voice, you can get the text written as text instead of manually typing it. Some keyboards comes with this feature, but WhatsApp will be implementing it on their upcoming update for iOS and Android once again.
