Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launched: Specifications, Price

Samsung launched the globally anticipated Samsung Galaxy S23 FE alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Buds FE. The smartphone is available in a single storage configuration and is set to hit the market later this month. It succeeds the Galaxy S21 FE, which was unveiled in January 2021, featuring an Exynos 2100 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging.

Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S23 FE carries a price tag of $599. On the Samsung Malaysia website, the phone is listed with an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The device has very close similar features to that of the Galaxy A54 5G.

It comes in several color choices, including Cream, Graphite, Mint, and Purple. Additionally, exclusive Indigo and Tangerine color variants will be available for purchase on the Samsung official website.

According to the US listing, the Galaxy S23 FE is slated to go on sale starting October 26.

The Galaxy S23 FE boasts a 6.4-inch Dynamic Full-HD+ AMOLED 2X display with a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is listed with an octa-core SoC clocked at speeds of up to 2.8GHz. Reports suggest that it will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Samsung's in-house Exynos 2200 chip, with the specific variant varying by region.

The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. At the top of the display, there is a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout housing a 10-megapixel front camera sensor for selfies and video calls, which represents a significant reduction from the 32-megapixel front camera found in the previous Galaxy S21 FE model.

The Galaxy S23 FE supports dual nano SIM cards and is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging via a USB Type-C port, claiming to charge the phone up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. It also offers connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3. The device comes with an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance and has dimensions of 158mm x 76.5mm x 8.2mm, weighing 209 grams.
