Sneak Peek: Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Set to Shine on January 17

 Samsung traditionally unveils its flagship Galaxy S series smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked launch event, typically held in either January or February. Several rumors have already circulated regarding the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series, including potential pricing. However, a recent leak has provided insights into the launch timeline.

A prominent tipster suggests that Samsung is planning to introduce its next-generation flagship smartphone series in mid-January 2024, with the Galaxy Unpacked event likely set to take place in San Francisco.

According to information shared by tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), it appears that the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will make their debut on January 17 next year, with the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for San Francisco in the United States.

This information aligns with prior reports regarding the launch date. A recent report from South Korea indicated that Samsung's manufacturing partners have initiated mass production of Galaxy S24 phones a month earlier than usual. Samsung is expected to officially announce the launch date in the coming weeks, providing more concrete details soon.

The Galaxy S24 lineup is anticipated to feature titanium frames as an upgrade from the usual aluminum. The standard Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to utilize Exynos chips for global markets, such as the US and Canada. In contrast, the Indian variant may employ a custom "Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for Galaxy." The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, is rumored to sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC across all markets.

The previous Galaxy Unpacked event took place in Samsung's home country, Seoul, South Korea, in the last week of July. This event witnessed the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Watch 6 series. Notably, the Galaxy S23 series was introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1 this year, with the Galaxy S23's starting price in India set at Rs. 74,999, while the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra were priced at Rs. 94,999 and Rs. 1,34,999, respectively.
